In 2018 I left Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to the Negev desert. This new body of work, “Everything Old is New Again”, is a work in progress from three years of documenting my life there. The Negev desert evolves on such a slow time scale it is almost constant, but the people who have made this place home have come and gone, all leaving their impressions and marks on the landscape. Some have lasted thousands of years - drawings carved into the rocks, or ruins of cities slowly melting into the hills - while others, short-lived like a footprint in sand, are swept up by the wind.
