Anna Lauren Oberfeld was born in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2013 Oberfeld was selected for the Maryland Institute College of Art’s honors program in Florence Italy, where she attended SACI. In addition to her studio work she studied art history, conservation, and museum studies. In 2014, she graduated Cum Laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, with a B.F.A. in General Fine Art and a concentration in Photography. Oberfeld then went o n to graduate from the Edinburgh College of Art in 2016 with an M.F.A. in Contemporary Art Practice. Currently she resides and works in her studio in Midreshet Ben-Gurion in the heart of the Negev Desert in Israel.
